You need an area that's liquid enough to exit, professional enough to manage remotely, and stable enough that you sleep at night. Here are the five Lahore options that consistently make the shortlist for our overseas clients.

1. DHA Phase 9 Prism

Possession ready in most blocks, regulated transfers, strong resale demand. Phase 9 Prism is what we recommend to overseas buyers who want a 'set and forget' file. Annual appreciation has run 10 to 13% over the last three years.

2. Bahria Orchard Phase 4

Bahria's premium amenities and gated security make it management friendly. Phase 4 still has development stage pricing on selected blocks, giving 5 to 7 year upside. Rental demand from expat professionals is strong.

3. Lake City

Master planned, well maintained, with stable demand from senior professionals. Plot prices are higher than emerging societies, but resale liquidity is consistently good, important when you need to exit on short notice from abroad.

4. Al Kabir Town Phase 2

Best entry price to upside ratio in our shortlist. Development is on track, and Phase 2 plot prices are still 30 to 40% below DHA equivalents. Good fit for overseas buyers building a multi plot portfolio over time.

5. Etihad Town Phase 1

Less mainstream than the names above, but the location near the new ring road and aggressive development pace have made it a quiet favourite. Watch for the 2027 commercial zone rollout, that's the inflection point.

What to actually avoid
